How we test

The rules every review on this site follows

  1. Published prices, verified with dates. Every figure is checked against the vendor's official pricing page or terms, and stamped with the day we checked it. Stale pages get re-checked or flagged.
  2. Public demos, documented. Where vendors publish product tours, we walk them and describe what's actually inside — with attribution. Where they hide pricing behind "Talk to sales", we document the wall itself.
  3. Community evidence is cited, never laundered. When Reddit or forum experience informs a verdict, we link the thread and label it as anecdotal. Aggregated star ratings are treated as noise.
  4. Hands-on tests are labeled as such. Where we have run a product ourselves, the page says so explicitly. Where we haven't, we never pretend otherwise.
  5. Every review names who should NOT buy — and affiliate status never touches rankings. If we can't name a bad-fit customer, we don't publish. Today the site has no affiliate relationships at all — the disclosure explains what changes if that changes.
