How this site makes money

Right now: it doesn't. Mr. Ledger's currently has no affiliate relationships — every outbound link goes straight to the vendor with nothing attached, and no company has paid us anything.

The plan is honest and boring: once the site earns its audience, we intend to join affiliate programs for some of the tools reviewed here. When that happens, three commitments take effect immediately:

• Commissions will never decide rankings or verdicts — several tools we recommend will pay us nothing.
• Every page containing affiliate links will say so on that page, not only here.
• Prices shown are what you pay; commissions come from the vendor's side.
